Savvy Events is a specialty event planning and rental company based in Auburn, Alabama — rooted in creativity, hospitality, and heartfelt service.
We believe every event should feel deeply personal — not just beautiful, but meaningful. Whether we’re helping you plan from the ground up or building a one-of-a-kind rental piece, our goal is to make your event feel calm, joyful, and completely yours.
Our tree logo was created to tell the story of who we are:
The roots represent our values — strength, family, and service.
The trunk symbolizes the foundation we’ve built through teamwork and trust.
The branches reflect our collaborations — with clients, vendors, and each other — helping every event grow and bloom.
The figures in the design represent our real family — the adults are us, Carley and Patrick. The kids are our own: Savannah and Brobson.
Every part of this business was built from something personal — from NICU nights to late-night builds in the garage. And every detail we design for you comes from that same place: heart, intention, and real-life experience.
meet the owners
We’re Carley and Patrick — both Auburn University attendees who met here, fell in love, and got married in 2015. Auburn is where we live, work, and raise our family. Life’s full (and lively!) with our two kids, Savannah (7) and Brobson (5), three dogs, three cats, and Patrick’s mom living under our roof. Family is truly at the center of everything we do — and it shows up in how we run Savvy Events.
Carley’s passion for weddings began in 2015 while managing events at Fountainview Mansion and a local country club. After seven years in venue management, she launched Savvy Events in 2022 — returning full circle to Fountainview as one of the first venues we partnered with. In 2023, we planned our very first wedding under the Savvy name, complete with a custom rental piece designed and built by Patrick himself.
Patrick brings a calm, steady energy to every part of this business — whether he’s leading a delivery crew, building custom bars and dance floors, or solving the kind of problems no one ever sees. With his background in the Air Force Reserves and restaurant management, paired with natural woodworking talent, he’s the guy who makes everything work behind the scenes.
The name “Savvy” means a lot to us. It’s a nod to our firstborn, Savannah, who was born at 31 weeks and spent the first month of her life in the NICU. That experience taught us so much about strength, faith, and the importance of not rushing through life. It also ties into the actual meaning of the word “savvy” — to have common sense and good judgment. That’s the spirit we bring to this business every day: thoughtful, grounded, and rooted in what really matters.
